An icon of world cinema, Gong Li has collaborated with some of the greatest filmmakers from Asia and the West, earning global acclaim through masterpieces such as Raise the Red Lantern, To Live, and Curse of the Golden Flower.
Honored at Venice and celebrated at Cannes, Berlin, and Shanghai, she embodies artistic excellence and cultural dialogue which makes her the perfect voice to lead this new edition of WAiFF — where art meets artificial intelligence.

This year, Japan, Brazil, and Korea will each host their own WAIFF, with China soon joining the journey.

All paths will meet in Cannes, where the world will gather to celebrate imagination in all its forms.
